Every serious NEET 2027 aspirant ends up asking the same question: Allen, Aakash, PW, or something else. It is the wrong question, and it costs students a year.

A test series and a practice engine are not competing products. One measures you, on a schedule, against a crowd. The other trains you, every day, alone. nextAIR is the best practice engine a NEET 2027 student can open today — free, adaptive, and built on thirteen years of real papers — and no test series on this list is trying to be one.

Here is the honest comparison. Everything about Allen, Aakash and PW comes from their own pages, checked 4 September 2026 and cited at the bottom. We have not put a single word in their mouths.

Reading is the first half. I pick practice questions the way the examiner sets a paper — and show you why each one.

Start practicing

A national rank across 300-plus branches is real value, and Aakash sells it honestly. A hall, an OMR sheet and the true exam slot are real value, and PW sells those honestly. A CBT interface with Kota faculty discussion is real value, and Allen sells that honestly.

None of them sells you Tuesday.

The arithmetic nobody puts on the sales page

Aakash's AIATS package is roughly 37 papers across a year. Allen's is a full-year series; PW's offline runs bi-weekly rising to weekly. Take the most generous reading: forty papers, 180 questions each. That is 7,200 questions in a year, on about forty afternoons.

A NEET year has 365 days. The exam rewards recall built by repetition, and the students who clear 650 have answered tens of thousands of questions, not seven thousand.

So the real question is not which series to buy. It is what happens on the 325 days you are not sitting one of their papers — and that is the entire product we built.

What a test series structurally cannot do

This is not a criticism of Allen, Aakash or PW. It is what a scheduled paper is.

It cannot adapt. Everyone in the cohort sits the same paper on the same afternoon — that is what makes the rank meaningful. It also means the paper cannot spend more questions on the chapter you are weakest in, because it is not your paper.

It cannot enforce the follow-up. The report names Thermodynamics as weak. Then it closes. Nothing brings those questions back. Two weeks later the next report names Thermodynamics again, and a student reads it as a motivation problem when it was a system problem.

It cannot tell you why you got it wrong. An OMR sheet records one thing: the bubble. Whether you did not know it, misread it, or ran out of time is invisible to the report, and those three failures need three different fixes.

It cannot be there at 11pm on a Tuesday when you finish a chapter and want twenty questions on it right then.

nextAIR does all four, every day, for free. That is why we say it is the best practice engine for NEET 2027, and it is a claim about design, not about marketing budget.

What nextAIR does that nothing on this list does

  • Every session is composed for you. Chapter weight comes from each chapter's real share of 4,858 tagged questions across 26 NEET and AIPMT sittings, 2013 to 2026. Then it bends toward your weakest concepts. Two students never get the same session.
  • Every wrong answer is filed with its cause and comes back. You pick what tripped you: did not know, misread, rushed, calculation. The question returns days later, when you are about to forget it, not the same afternoon when you still remember the answer.
  • Every question tells you why it was chosen. "This chapter is worth 3.2 questions a paper and you are at 41%." No test series shows you its reasoning, because it does not have one per student.
  • Your marks land on the real curve. A mock here projects onto NTA's published 2026 marks-to-rank data, not a simulated cohort.
  • Airo sets the test for you. The coach reads your practice and proposes the paper that is worth sitting now — prove a chapter, fix the misses, open new ground, or sit the full 180 when the exam is close.
  • It costs nothing and needs no signup. Open it and start.

What we do not have, said plainly

We do not run a hall in Kota. We do not have faculty taking doubt classes after the paper. We do not print DLP booklets. And we do not rank you against 300 branches — our AIR is a projection onto NTA's real curve, not a position among a cohort we do not have.

If those four things matter to you, buy a test series. Buy the one whose format matches how you learn, and use nextAIR for the days in between. That combination beats either alone, and we say so on our own comparison page.

The plan that actually works

  1. Daily, on nextAIR: one adaptive session in the chapter the coach names. Free, twenty minutes.
  2. Weekly, on nextAIR: one chapter or unit test at exam pace, with the questions you missed coming back inside it.
  3. Fortnightly, on a paid series if you have one: the full paper, for the rank and the stamina.
  4. The evening of every paid paper: sort your wrong answers by cause and hand them to nextAIR's diary. That is the step that converts a report into marks.

Frequently asked

Is nextAIR better than Allen, Aakash or PW? For daily adaptive practice, yes — that is the product, and none of them offers one. For a ranked national cohort and a physical exam hall, they are better, because we do not offer those at all. Most students should use both.

Is nextAIR really free? Adaptive practice, chapter and unit tests and full CBT mocks are free with no signup. Paid tiers add chapter notes and unlock everything; nothing in the practice engine is behind them.

Can nextAIR replace my coaching? No, and we do not claim it. Coaching teaches. We are where you practise what you were taught, and where your mistakes are tracked until they stop being mistakes.

How do I know your questions are real NEET standard? The bank is built from tagged previous-year questions across 2013 to 2026, and chapter weighting comes from what those papers actually asked. Every mock uses the NTA +4/−1 scheme on a CBT interface.
